The University of St Andrews Library reached out asking for a short informational animation to welcome new students and give them technological support. Their aim was to condense their 12-page brochure into an engaging minute-long video that could be played on the televisions within university locations across the campus. I was in charge of scripting, storyboarding, illustrations and animation.
I used a mixture of After Effects and Final Cut Pro for this project. By choosing a simple shape-based illustration style and a bright colour palette, the video remained within budget while achieving the Library's target of approachability and conciseness.
