'Medium Format' Provence Stills

While travelling through the south of France, I took a series of medium format-style photographs made with the 'bokeh panorama' technique. My photography eye was drawn to the same pale limestone villages and rich Mediterranean flora that inspired so many artists in that region throughout history. I became particularly interested in framing people within nature using symmetrical and 'Fibonacci' compositions.
The photographs in this series are all composed from as many as 25 individual photographs that are later stitched in photoshop to create a large-format effect. This also allows the images to be as high resolution as 100 megapixels.
