Home Deluxe is a music collective led by Alexandre, a French producer, Raphael, an American writer-producer. It's an irreverant and collaborative project started in 2017 to showcase the producers' favourite 1980s synthesizers. I was asked to help develop Home Deluxe's aesthetic across their album art to reflect both the range in genre (nu-disco, electro-funk, and rap) and unifying themes across all of their work.
I also shot and edited the music video for Home Deluxe's single Urbane -- a satirical take on gentrification in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
Most of the album art was created by manipulating B&W film photographs from Raphael Benros and then incorporating elements of colour, geometric distortion and repetition.
